NIST congratulates its Falcon athletes for their outstanding performance both on and off the field of play.

Over the weekend of the 6th and 7th October NIST Falcon athletes, coaches and supporters competed for the school at the BISAC U19 soccer and volleyball, BISAC U13 tennis tournaments, and the inaugural Community Golf Cup held at Amata Spring Country Club.

Our students were great ambassadors for NIST both on and off the field, gaining plaudits for their performance and ability to play sport with strong team spirit, and for putting sportsmanship amongst themselves and towards others at the forefront of performances.

The boys and girls U19 volleyball teams both won the BISAC Championship with U19 girls soccer placing 2nd and boys 4th. Our U13 boys and girls tennis teams were excellent both placing 2nd.

Our Falcon Golf team played against ISB and BPS in the inaugural Golf Community Cup at Amata Spring Country Club. It was a fantastic event with some wonderful golfing demonstrated by the athletes under difficult conditions. NIST won the team event comfortably which was the result of the four combined lowest scores from each school. The best individual score was won by NIST student, Phurin Narula. All members are to be congratulated not only on their performances but on how they conducted themselves throughout the event. NIST extends a great thank you to Amata Spring for allowing us the opportunity to run this event.
