On Saturday November 10 2012 NIST hosted its annual Family Day Fun Fair organized by the Thai Parents Group. Over 900 tickets were sold as the community came together for a day that celebrates community.

This year the event was emceed by a NIST alumni and current Year 13 student who are both signed with one of Thailand’s largest music labels - GMM Grammy. They proved to be wonderful MCs and even performed a number of their hits. Students across year groups participated in the talent show displaying skills in dance, singing, magic shows and more.

There was additionally a wide array of food and drinks items, from the iced coffee (particularly popular with the parents) to a range of Thai and international delicacies.

Children had a myriad of games and rides including a mini-train, two bouncy castles and a large selection of game booths to play with. The final event was the lucky draw where attendees received some fantastic prizes.

NIST celebrates its strong sense of community and always enjoys opportunities for parents, staff and students to bond and interact outside of normal school hours.
