EMA Philippines on road show in November

The Erasmus Mundus Association Philippines will have a series of European Higher Education Fairs in November to cover the three main islands: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

7 November 2013: EMA Philippines will be in Dumaguete City for a two-part European Higher Education Fair. The morning event, 9am-12nn, will be at Foundation University, and the afternoon event, 2-5pm will be at Silliman University. There will be a special session on European Master in Women’s and Gender Studies (GEMMA) by the Programme and Country Representative, Kate Alyzon Ramil, and the 16-day activism against gender-based violence by Eramus Mundus Master in Global Studies-European Perspective alumna, Jenny Elmaco.

8 November 2013: EMA Philippines will be at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City for a special session on Eramus Mundus Programme from 4:30-5:30pm. This will be presented by three alumni: Jill Lopez, European Master in Law and Economics; Patrick Alcantara, Europoean Master in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management; and Lance O’Hari Go, Erasmus Mundus Action 2: EMMA.

15 November 2013: EMA Philippines will be at Malaybalay State University in Bukidnon, from 13:00-15:00. This event will be headed by European Master of Arts in Media, Communication, and Cultural Studies (CoMundus) alumna and VP for EMASEA, Shiella Balbutin and Programme Representative of International Master in Horticultural Sciences (IMaHS), Erecson Solis.

16 and 23 November 2013: EMA Philippines will participate in the Study Abroad Workshop which will be held at UP Bahay ng Alumni at University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.  This is a four-session-workshop (8:30-13:00 and 14:30-19:00 for two Saturdays) which will be conducted by Lifelong Learning alumni, Patrick Alcantara and Mark Maca who both work as higher education consultants. One of the guest speakers is Programme and Country Representative, Kate Alyzon Ramil.
