On 8 November 2013, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception for representatives of the Thai communities and Thai media in Washington, D.C. and nearby areas.  On this occassion, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, delivered his welcoming remarks, reaffirming his determination to work to protect and promote the well-being of Thais living in the United States.  Also attending the reception were officers of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Washington, D.C.
