On March 20th to 22nd, the NIST community delighted in a whole school production of the acclaimed musical ‘Annie’. From Elementary to Secondary, NIST students offered an impressive rendition of Annie, with even a few surprise staff performances! The musical was a fantastic display of the wonderful actors and musicians at NIST.

The star of the show, Annie, was played by one of NIST’s very own year 8 students. Vanessa did a remarkable job leading the way with audience favourites such as “Tomorrow” and “Maybe.” NIST staff and students collaborated to bring a live orchestra to the production, giving this musical a very special feel. The Orphans, played by NIST Elementary students did a fantastic job with a number of laugh out loud performances, including the famous “It’s a Hard Knock Life”. Much to everyone’s great surprise, NIST’s music teachers Mr. Craig and Mr. David played Mr. Warbucks and President Roosevelt! This was truly a whole school production!
